Christmas Stories 4: Duvet Day

So here’s a fluffy piece of fluff because I felt like it. The softer side of Sven and Mimi and a continuation of yesterday’s fic. Kind of. The morning after.

Mimi was woken by a loud clink. She took a few seconds to fully appreciate where the sound was coming from and then she turned around, to the man sitting next to her in the bed.

“Hmm, Morning.” She yawned sleepily.

“Good Morning. Sleep good?” Sven asked, balancing his laptop on his knees.

“Hmm.” Mimi nodded and sat up, pushing her hair out of her face. “What’s that you’ve got?” she swung her legs out of the bed and sipped some of the water that was stood on her bedside.

“Pancakes.” Sven added nonchalantly, “Thought they would be nice considering it’s the weekend.” He held the plate and forked another mouthful of the syrupy mess into his mouth.

“Hmm.” Mimi stretched and then got back into bed next to him, rubbing his belly and planting a kiss on his cheek. “They look yummy. Can I…just…?” She reached out to take the fork and Sven frowned at her, giggling. “Nope.” He grinned, pulling the plate away, “They’re mine.”

“Oh go on.” Mimi laughed, “Just a bite.”

“Hah. No.”

“Please.” Mimi pawed at his arm and ran her foot down his leg, “Just a little bit.”

“No, kitten, they’re mine and now I’m reading. Stop it.”

“Fine.” Mimi answered, “Suit yourself.”  She pulled his glasses off him and put them on her head. “No pancakes, no internet. That’s fair, half and half.”

Sven raised an eyebrow and looked at Mimi, trying to suppress a smile. “Not funny. Can I have them back?”

“Nope. Not until I get some pancakes.”

“No. Serves you right for putting that ice cube up my ass, last night.” He grinned.

“NO!” Mimi slapped him hard and slid backwards. “No way, Mr. You are not playing that card. If I remember correctly you had a raging hard on at the time, so I hardly think that’s fair. It wasn’t like you weren’t enjoying it.”

“It was delicious.” Sven grinned, kissing Mimi on the cheek, “Almost as good as these pancakes.”

Mimi pushed him violently as he forked another mouthful in.

“Heheh”

Mimi’s poker face melted and she curled up next to him. “Shall I read you the news seeing as you can’t see it?”

Sven nodded, “Please.”

“Food first.” She smiled up at him and opened her mouth.

Sven forked a mouthful of pancake into Mimi’s mouth and she smiled happily.

“Happy now?” he asked

“Yup.” Mimi lay against him and pushed his glasses back on her head. “Going…to….gheegh.”

“You know it’s rude to speak with your mouth full.” Sven said, wrapping his arm around Mimi and hugging her close.

She raised her eyebrow. “You’ve changed your tune. You didn’t care when I did it last night.”

Sven giggled, that high-pitched laugh he had and Mimi blushed, “That was different.”

“Okay.” Mimi settled into him and turned the laptop towards her, reading aloud, “Syria faces new ultimatum” she began, licking her fingers.

“Stop.” Sven placed the syrupy plate on the side-table and moved the laptop onto the floor. “I’ve just remembered something.”

“What?” Mimi looked up and watched as Sven lay back down next to her.

“We haven’t had snuggles for ages.”

“Ohhhh, you are so cute and silly and this is so a ploy to get into my pants. Come here you.”

They lay down and curled up together, laughing.

“It isn’t, you know.” Sven said solemnly.

“Hmm?” Mimi rubbed his back gently and lay her face against his chest. “’Kay, if you say so.”

“Hmm. Because, for a start you’re not wearing pants. Secondly, can’t a man get a hug around here?”

Mimi laughed and rubbed his chest again. “You know it. We have the whole weekend ahead of us. We’ll do whatever you want to do.”

“Makes a change,” he laughed and pulled the duvet over them.
